In order for sleep to be able to unfold, the spring suspension at Bettenhaus Schmitt is of particular importance.

The almost rigid support slats of the WERKMEISTER slat base are supported at both ends by individual stainless steel spring elements. This makes them far superior to conventional slats. The result is an even springing of the entire lying surface with a softer shoulder zone.

Due to the design and material properties of the stainless steel, each individual spring element has a progressive effect. The higher the load on an element, the higher the counterpressure developed by the respective spring. The back pressure is reduced when the pressure is relieved.
