For over 80 years, the Graser manufactory has embodied first-class bed linen of the highest quality and perfection. Each collection is made up in our long-standing tradition here in Merklingen in the Swabian Alb with constant dedication to handcrafted details in ever new variations.

The company, founded in the 1930s by the Graser brothers, grew out of the tradition of linen weaving in the Swabian Alb. Originally, the company specialized in the production of pure white linen fabrics and later damasks, some of which were still embroidered by hand and made into high-quality bed linen.

These fabrics were an essential component of the dowry chests for decades. When the tradition began to lose importance towards the end of the 1960s, the company decided around 1970 to add Swiss maco satin to its range and to process it in the same elaborate way.

Mako satin has since been replaced by the even more elegant and high-quality fine satin made from Supima extra-long staple cotton. This silk-like fabric, which is available in plain, striped and checked, is available in a wide range of colors and is made into exclusive bed linen in our bespoke tailoring department.

Graser uses many textile techniques, including playing with different colors and adding embellishments such as embroidery and lace. Silk and cotton damasks as well as striped and checked fabrics are purchased at international trade fairs and combined with our satin to create a finely coordinated composition.
